Core and Restore with Alex (6 classes, April 2017)

This whole-body class focuses on gentle intelligent movement that can help heal, repair, and prevent common issues like shoulder and neck pain, lower back pain, scoliosis, or SI joint instability. With a combination of strengthening Pilates and physiotherapy exercises along with the deep tension release of yin yoga stretches and ball rolling for myofascial release and deep tissue massage, we will work towards a stable, relaxed, pain-free, and healthy body.


This all-levels class is appropriate for beginners, those working to repair from injuries, and anyone who wants to maintain a healthy body.


Thursdays, 7:45-9:00pm

6 classes, March 30th-May 4th, $102+tax

Late registration (after March 22nd) $114+tax

This class was produced because of a car accident that left Alex in pain and suffering. There is an art to finding what works for you and your body. Life includes accidents and repetitive movements and long held life positions. Alex is so grateful to have the opportunity to share this knowledge with you and help you find ease from your pain and suffering. She now does this work in order to prevent injuries and misalignments from popping up in the future. Alex is a certified Yoga (RYT) and Pilates Teacher, was mentored by Dean Smith (Physiotherapist and Yoga teacher), is trained by Gioia Irwin, creator of The Tensegrity Series, and has a keen interest in anatomy and movement.
