With this pass, you are entitled to pre-enrollment in two of our weekly classes: please email julie@oceanandcrow.ca to tell us which two you would like. For all the other classes you'd like to take, please enroll online at some point beforehand to ensure you get a spot.

The price of this class is valued at two full courses plus two drop ins, but you can come as often as you like. It's a great deal if you plan on coming more than twice a week.

With this pass, you must commit to attending that course every Wednesday evening.

Join Iyengar yoga instructor Meghan Goodman for a combination of calming Restorative postures, gentle stretching, and breathing exercises that will leave you feeling mentally and physically refreshed. This class will focus on postures that open the front, sides and back of the lung to prepare the body for better breathing. Then we will rest in restorative chest opening postures where the body can relax and open in more subtle ways. The breathing exercises we explore will create freedom in the respiratory organs while soothing and quieting the nerves and brain. Learn to find more space in your body from the inside out, and discover the breath’s subtle yet powerful effects. Between classes students will be encouraged to practice on their own and come back the next week with observations and questions.

This class is appropriate for beginners, those working with pain or injuries, and everyone else.

Meghan Goodman is an Iyengar yoga instructor, professional dance artist and mother. She began practicing yoga in 1998 and teaching in 2006, after completing a 200-hour teacher training program through Flow Yoga. Seeking more information on how to work with a wider range of students, Meghan began her studies of Iyengar yoga in 2008. With the guidance of Louie Ettling, Meghan completed the Intro 2 teaching certification in 2013. She is currently working towards assessment for the Intermediate Junior 1 certification. For Meghan, Iyengar yoga has become the steady path to finding stability and space in the body, the antidote to a physically demanding and busy lifestyle, and a method for moving deeper in the practice with intelligence and care.
