Deep Stretching for Deep Relaxation: Evening Yin with Helen (Feb 2017)
Yin Yoga is the practice of deep stretching. When we move deeply into each pose, we also have the opportunity to focus on the breath and our ability to find stillness. In this session, we will focus on relaxing both body and mind as we settle into each pose. Using the breath as a point of focus to help quiet our busy minds and invite a state of meditation as we release tension and stress at the end of the day. If you would like to unwind, release, and invite a better quality of sleep through deep stretching, then this class is for you!
Beginners welcome. Please note that Yin yoga is not appropriate for pregnancy.

Helen loves yoga in all its forms, and has a particular fondness for Yin. It is a practice that is very accessible and also offers a number of benefits. After completing her Yin Yoga certification in 2013, she has watched one student after another fall in love with this practice. And by offering this workshop, she invites students of all levels to share in something that will support both their physical and mental wellbeing.
