Each of these weekly noon hour classes begins with an accessible
supported posture that gently stretches or relaxes the body as we get
centered. Then we transition into our Flow or Yang practice, moving
dynamically with the breath to release stress, heat the body, stretch,
strengthen, and play with a little bit of challenge. Then we return to
the floor and our softer, more grounded Yin-like postures or deep
muscular release techniques so we can drop into a kind of bodily
meditation to prepare for deep rest at the end of class. Swinging the
pendulum from cool and quiet to dynamic and active and back has its own
yin/yang magic! The class can wring out stress, calm the nervous system,
release tension, and let you walk out feeling better.
