Move, Sweat, Reflect: Flow Yoga with Julie Peters (Feb 2017)
Release the stress of your week as you discover the rhythm of your breath. Build strength and flexibility while learning how to approach postures like standing, balancing, backbends, core work, and inversions (no pressure!). In each of these weekly classes, we will take on a theme or idea for contemplation and then move it through our bodies. We will move dynamically (but intentionally) with our breath so that we can connect with our bodies and our minds, showing up to how we feel and letting go of what we don't need. We will learn together through practice, demonstration, and sometimes hands-on assists. Expect to sweat! And then we'll cool down with a deep stretch and a satisfying rest at the end of each class.
All levels are welcome. Modifications will always be offered for injuries or limitations. Pregnant women comfortable in a yoga practice are welcome.
6 sessions, Tuesdays, 6:00-7:15pm,
February 21st to March 28th: $102+tax
Late registration (after Feb 7th) $114+tax
